Re-exploration

I’ve been trying to figure out how I wanted to start off this blog series and I think the path I want to explore is one of appreciation. An appreciation of all the items I’ve acquired over time and an appreciation of all the joy they have and continue to bring me.

I’ve fallen for the trap of thinking the gear will make me a better photographer, videographer, writer, blogger, or person. It’s the dedication that makes people better. Its the time we invest that brings us joy. I’m hoping I can find that aspect again in all the things I re-explore.

For my first re-exploration I think I’ll start with my Olympus OM 1. I need to buy some new light seals and film but I’m really excited to explore this field again. I need to stick with my plan and this blog will be a great documentation of how successful or how unsuccessful I am in sticking to that plan.
